About Me
Hi, I’m Julie! I’m a photographer, filmmaker, video editor, author, former stunt performer and lifelong creative.
I’ve spent most of my life telling stories in one way or another, whether through film, photography, writing or design. I’m endlessly curious, a little obsessed with creating things (okay, a LOT!), and happiest when I’m behind a camera bringing ideas to life.
Stunts
Before Goldkin, I spent nearly 10 years working in the film industry as a professional stunt performer.
I’ve doubled actors, fought on camera, crashed into things for a living and worked alongside some incredible people. It was one wild ride, and I loved every minute of it!
My stunt career taught me how to think on my feet, work under pressure and, most importantly, understand the art of storytelling through film. It's also where I fell in love with editing and learned how powerful it can be to tell a story, convey an emotion or share an idea.
I'll always look back on those years with so much gratitude in my heart.
And yes, I have some pretty wild stories! Just ask... 😉

Goldkin Creatives
Goldkin Creatives is where everything I've learned comes together.
I create photography and video for businesses, dogs and people. From planning and filming to editing and final delivery, I love taking care of the entire creative process so my clients don't have to.
My goal is simple: create beautiful work that tells your story and serves a purpose. Whether that's bringing more customers through your door, making your business look amazing or capturing your four-legged bestie's hilarious personality so you can treasure those memories forever!
Marsus Universe
And then there's Marsus!
I created Marsus Universe, a science-fiction world born from my love of storytelling, space, adventure and very BIG ideas.
My first book, Rise of the Explorers, follows a wonderfully weird crew of explorers on Mars as they attempt the impossible: terraforming the Red Planet!
It's a story full of adventure, friendship, courage and finding your place in the universe, even when you feel a little different from everyone else.
It's one of the biggest creative adventures I've ever taken on, and trust me, I'm only getting started!
